LOST Season 5 Countdown

5 New Fall Shows

Yay, fall TV is almost here! There are a bunch of new shows; but there are only five that will make it onto my DVR for approval. And they are, in the order of my excitement about them (least to most):

5. Life on Mars (ABC), start date: Thursday, October 9thStars Jason O'Mara and Michael Imperioli (Christopher Moltisanti on Sopranos)

2008 Cop wakes up in 1973 and doesn't know how he got there. Remake of a BBC show.
The ABC preview is a little scary; it's portrayed in a 70's style and looks like it could be really bad.
But the Jason O'Mara/Michael Imperioli combo has won Life on Mars a place in the DVR.

4. Eleventh Hour (CBS), start date: Thursday, October 9thStars Rufus Sewell

Sewell is a biophysicist recruited by the FBI to investigate increasing the crime rate from a scientific point of view. The description is really boring, but the preview sucked me right in. Looks sort of X-File -y without the aliens.

3. Kath & Kim (NBC) start date: Thursday, October 9Stars Molly Shannon and Selma Blair

A remake of an Australian hit - Shannon, who has just found true love, is mother to Blair, who has just gotten divorced and moved back in with mom.

2. My Own Worst Enemy (NBC) start date: Monday, October 13Stars Christian Slater

Think Jekyll and Hyde, where Dr. Jekyll is a normal husband with kids, and Hyde is a lethal assassin. Good enough to win spot #2 on my excitement meter. The preview is SO exciting, that I'm including the LINK.

And #1 on the DVR excitement fall tv list is:
1. Fringe (Fox) start date: Tuesday, September 9
Stars Joshua Jackson.
The reason it is number one is simply because of J.J. Abrams.
I previewed this a while back, to review go HERE.

You're going to have to get a second DVR.
